Question / Help Is there any way to record your microphone to a separate file?

Is it possible to simultaneously record the video and sound of your computer to one file while recording your mic to another?

I ask because I want to edit the sounds of my mic individually but don't want to deal with the hassle of using a second program to record my mic. I don't want to have to manually figure out how the mic and the video line up.

not really. whats your issue, AV sync?

Not yet, though multitrack recording will soon be supported in OBS Multiplatform.

You can sign up for Github and "watch" the Github repo: https://github.com/jp9000/obs-studio

That will send you an email when there is a new release, though it will also email you when there are new pull requests and such, which you might not be interested in.
