Question / Help Is the london server down?

Everytime I click "Start Streaming" my connection goes into the red, and I disconnect from the server, I've streamed many times in the past without a hitch, is there any problem with the server at the moment?

If not can anybody suggest what my problem might be.

Just try a different server in this case. According to twitchstatus, he should be online though.
