Question / Help Is my CPU good enough for streaming?

Hello, I play on a 1920x1080 resolution with an EVGA GTX 550 Ti, I have an AMD Athlon II x3 450 Processor @ 3.20GHz with an Alpine 64 Pro rev. 2 CPU cooler which remains between 30 and 35 deg's idle, and 8GB of Crucial Ballistix Sport 1333MHz RAM, and an upload speed of 16.7Mbps

My aim is to stream League of Legends, what's the best quality I could get with about 30 fps?

Any tips for the advanced part of the settings for OBS would be appreciated too, thanks!

I played in 1080p and streamed in 720p on an Athlon II X4 640 just fine and dandy. Granted, it does have an additional core so I'm not sure how big of an impact that is going to make.

tbh ... you could have just tried streaming with 720p/540p/480p and would have had an answer on your own.

if you want to know if your cpu is powerful enough i must say not really yet you could get away with ultrafast preset on 720p30fps or probably even less fps without having that much of ingame performance decrease.

Well I'm having new internet be installed next friday so I needed an answer now before I got my hopes up of streaming in 720p, but thanks for the answer.
