I have been trying to stream to twitch for a few days now, following all the guides and stuff. I got a few logs and used the OBS Log Analyzer and did everything it said. I have an I5 m520 2.4ghz with 4gig of ram and a radeon 5400. When I run OBS and stream at 1.25 downscale I am getting almost 50%+ CPU usage. I really hope this laptop can handle it, wife is gonna kill me if I have to move the desktop to the living room.. Any suggestions will help

cant see any downscale in that log ... you kept trying to stream 1080p30 on veryfast preset with an hyperthreaded dualcore thats probably not going to happen.

I highly reccomend downscaling to at least 1280 x 720. I would only reccomend higher if you are 100% certain your PC can handle it.

Your system is not powerful enough to stream at your current setting of 1080p, nor is it powerful enough for 720p as RamuneGaming suggested. You will most likely need to downscale into the 360p/480p range, please see viewtopic.php?f=5&t=11641 for more information and tips.
