Hi
I have no idea where to search for the problem anymore.
I was streaming iRacing in GameCapture Mode without problems but now it does not work anymore.
Was wondering if it may be connected with the new NVIDIA driver and installed the old one > Same problem.
Everytime when i try to start streaming iRacing crashes.
I also thought it does not work anymore with the new version of OBS.
Anybody out there with info.

Here a log right now created;
That's the line when iRacing does CTD
-- 02:15:35: Capture window 0x002B0C9E invalid or changing, terminating capture
OBS keeps runnning...

Are you running OBS as administrator?

Also, have you tried enabling anti-cheat compatibility?

OK... now i have tried again several things (admin; antiCheat....)
Problem stays.
But seems there must have changed s/th with iRacing - maybe also just on my side.
Other games - e.G. SpinTires - no problem with GameCapture.

:-(

Anybody elso out there tried 'GameCapture' with iRacing? Working?

Have a nice rest of the weekend guys...

i have been having the same issue...i believe it is tied to games that are larger than native 1920x1080 resolution as in mulitple monitors in iracing and running in full screen. i used to be able to stream iracing with a monitor capture of my center screen and a game capture so i just streamed what was happening in my center monitor but now it just crashes every time...i have the same exact problem with DCS world as that is also using multiple monitors in full screen. i think one of the recent obs updates has made it so it doesnt recognize games on multiple monitors in full screen

I do not use multi monitor setup in the game. And i use the same set than before;
Just something must have changed. I have multiple monitors - yes, but 3 different; Game on one; Others for data - And i already had this setting when it worked.

The thing i noticed these days. Right after installing a new NVIDIA driver it seems to work. But does not look like it works anymore after having rebooted - Tried DDU? - Yes - Clean install? - Yes.
Seems right after installing the Video driver the desktop (It's Win 8.1? - Yes - And it was when it worked) is running in a slightly different mode.
Because after the reboot when starting the game looks like a flicker by changing mode during loading screens. That seems not to happen right after Driver install.

The only prob... i want to make streams again :-(

Not yet, I'm sorry about that. It's kind of a difficult situation at the moment.

OK
Because of having a ASRock MainBoard (got 3 month premium XSPLIT with it) i tried to do GameCapture with using XSplit --- Result: It works !!! --- Same test again with OBS (updated today) ---- Result: Hitting my Shortcut to start the stream >> iRacing instantly crashes;
So the problem must be somewhere in the plugin that's used by OBS for GameCapture (or maybe in my config --- but it worked so long) or the way they try to capture the DirectX data. --
That's my result of the day.
Have a nice day...CU

I have the same problem. I will update here if I find some kind of fix.

edit: I've found a workaround. Make iRacing windowed and use the Window Capture in OBS. It will leave some black bars but it's better than nothing.
