Question / Help iPad Streaming

Hey guys,


I am struggling to stream on my IPad thorough my laptop. I am unsure what to do. I have plugged the USB into my laptop and the charger into my iPad. I have made a new folder with nothing in it and tried my best to work out how to stream my Ipad screen. I was hoping it would be as easy as adding a new monitor but obviously it isn't a monitor.

Hello there.

I think for iPad streaming you will need an adapter (iPad -> HDMI) and then use a HDMI capture card (such as the Avermedia Live Gamer HD, Extremecap U3, etc) to capture the image on OBS.
 
Ok thank you, I am guessing you have to pay for that? I know what a capture card Is but can you do it through the pc?
 
Can you do what through the PC? If you know what a capture card is I can't figure out what you're asking.
 
Acctually record through th pc. Maybe buy something through OBS that can record iPad withought literally having to plug so etching in.
