Question / Help Internet Speed Results not the same as OBS

In a nutshell, I've run a number of internet speed tests on various websites my download is a consistent 57Mbps and my upload ranges from somewhere between 15-25 Mbps. I have tried switching servers and playing with both my audio and video's bitrates but even at 600 bitrate I am getting dropped frames. On my OBS client I am only managing to get upload speeds of 650-900 Kbps on the panel in the bottom right. Am I simply misreading or misinterpreting OBS or is there something else that I am doing wrong. Please help!

Speed test sites open many simultaneous TCP connections to max out your line. OBS and the RTMP protocol can only operate over a single TCP connection, which if you have high latency can have poor throughput.

So do you have any tips on how I can improve my stream quality or am I screwed?

try different servers, call your internet provider, but if that doesn't help - well, yeah, only a change of the provider will help.

Also, if you're streaming over wifi, STOP IT.

You can also try buying/renting a VPN server (NOT A FREE ONE!) at a nearby datacenter that might clear your 'local hop' if that's where the problem is, and get a more solid connection route to the Twitch server of choice. Be aware that streaming is bandwidth intensive though, and most VPN services do have transfer limits and overage fees.

If you decide to try going that route, make sure to contact them and set up a test/demo for an hour or two, along with metering, before you sign ANY contract.
