I want to buy MacBook Pro with Intel i7 CPU. I planing to install Windows 10 x64 on Mac and use OBS for Mac OS and Windowsfor streaming.

Will OBS fine on Intel Graphics? For example, Intel Iris Graphics 6100 or Intel Iris Pro Graphics which is in new MacBooks Pro?

Or only nVidia/AMD Graphics in needed?

OBS will work the same on Mac OS and Windows 10?

How Intel Graphics Card, nVidia, AMD how it will affect the CPU load?

Is there any compability test reports for graphics cards?

theres no compatibility issues but older iGPUs such as intel often cause extra load on the GPU because the iGPU cant handle it. that being said report back so I'll know.

Thanks.

What about modern Intel GPUs? Intel Iris Graphics 6100 or Intel Iris Pro Graphics, for example.

As I know they have better perfomance and Intel Quick Sync Video technology which can be used for streaming. How is load on CPU in this case?

May be there is some requirements for Direct X etc.

OBS uses DX10 feature level (not to be confused with DX10). I believe OBS MP can either use DX11 or Open GL renderer. this is all in the backend and not necessarily the way you run your game.

I cant sya for sure why iGPUs have run slower besides their use of shared RAM and among other things, but you can test it and get back with me.
