Insane File Sizes

Hello all, this is my first forum post so forgive me if I sound stupid. I am recording minecraft gameplay at a very high quality which I understand comes with a large file size but my size seems insane for what I'm getting. I'm recording at 2560x1440p, Constant QP 20, 2s Interval, P6: Better Quality, Tuning: High Quality, Multipass Mode: Two Passes, Profile: High. The video quality is good but it's not even that great tbh yet my files around 21gb per 30 mins which is insane. I'd like to add that I recorded minecraft years ago, same computer, same monitor, same settings, and my files used to be like 10gb for an hour as well as they were WAY higher quality. I don't understand what's happened since then or how I can fix this. https://obsproject.com/logs/JyrB1KZ9SYU3TzwG

Your quality is probably bad because of this weird base resolution that forces everything to go through scaling instead of being pixel perfect. CQP 20 should be largely indistinguishable otherwise.

1st - what R1CH said

then, random extra commentary

Actually, 21GB for 30 minutes isn't that large (Yes, good size but not unexpected with your settings) . were you recording at 1440p 60fps before?
And there is the trade off of compute vs speed when doing lossy compression (H.264 vs H.265 vs AV1). For reference, lossless RAW video recording is measured in GB/min

And recording to MP4 - hopefully you understand the risk involved and why recording to MP4 is recommend against as it can be unnecessarily problematic (an auto remux on even a SATA SSD is quick as it isn't re-encoding)
