Question / Help Ingame sound won't record in Hearthstone

I'm having troubles getting my ingame sound to record in Hearthstone. I can hear my ingame sound when I stream any other game and I can hear myself on the mic.

I'm using an HTO Claro Plus sound card, if that helps.

Any idea how to fix this?
 
Maybe change Desktop Audio Device to your audio card, or headset?

Make sure the game is actually playing audio to the device windows see's as its Default. Or, as terror says. Just select the specific card.
 
I've tried changing the audio device to my sound card, but it still isn't working. Hearthstone doesn't have any ingame options to change which device the sound plays out of, so I wouldn't know how else to make sure that it is playing to my Default device.

Edit: It started working when I opened up another game, but I couldn't recreate the same scenario a second time and still doesn't work.

Fixed. I have Windows 8 and ran Hearthstone in compatibility mode for Windows 7 and the audio now records properly.
