Question / Help Ingame lags/framedrops, Stream lagging

Hello Community.

I started using Open Broadcaster Software because I heard, there are many advantages compared to XSplit (for example the CPU usage. It's lower).

First of all, here are my PC Specs:

CPU: Intel Core i7-3770k @ 3,5 GHz
Video card: GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 670
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 16GB Low Profile

Motherboard: Asus MAXIMUS V GENE Z77
PSU: 630W be quiet! Pure Power L8-CM
Screen is 1920 x 1080 resolution.

Downloadspeed: 25 - 50 mb/s
Uploadspeed 6 - 8 mb/s

The settings estimator said:

Set FPS to 30
Set quality to 8 - 10
Your upload speed is sufficient for 720p / 1080p
Recommended max bitrate: 4000
Recommended buffer size: 4000

Okay, fine - I did what you wanted, Mr. Estimator.. but my stream and my game are still lagging.
The problem I noticed is my CPU-Usage.
It is so LOW!
My CPU-Usage is kinda 15 - 20% while Streaming.

But why do I still have those framedrops, laggs and why does the stream still lagg?

I just want to set up a normal 720p Stream.
Can anybody help me? :(

Since you didn't include a log file(you still should), I'll have to guess your're using software monitor capture and have Aero on.
If so, turn Aero off.

How do I post a log file?
And yes, i want to use monitor capture.

*And sorry: but how do I turn off the Aero-thing? :S

By the way: Here is the video to my video i recorded via OBS:

http://de.twitch.tv/mesnate/b/365001053

I asked my friends, almost everybody told me that it is lagging. I have no idea why.
I'm using a second monitor/screen (to be honest, I use my TV as second screen) and watch my Dashboard.
There are no laggs for me.

Really have no idea why it is lagging for them.

And the quality isn't perfect as well, with "that" hardware.
I mean 8mb/s upstream is enough to stream 720p VERY WELL. - Well... my stream doesn't even work with 8 mb upstream :S

Hope you can help me!
Thanks so much!

Monitor capture is sadly the weakest of all capture methods, even when aero off. Window capture with aero on is pretty much the most efficient method of capturing currently.

Okay, then I have a few questions:
Can I capture everything, with window capture (aero off)?
Like my desktop, Google Chrome, the League of Legends Client, and the League of Legends Game itsself?

Because when I want to capture the game itsself, it doesn't show me.
Not even with window capture and not with game capture.. I have no idea why :S

EDIT: ************

No problem, I found it.
I'll stry another stream right now.
Going to send you video link + log.

This time with window capture and aero off!

One more question:

Can I capture my Desktop as well?
If yes, how?
