Question / Help Incredible buzzing noise coming from microphone!

Hey guys, ive searched for hours and haven't had any luck!

When I start my stream I get a horrible buzzing noise that you can hear while I speak, i've used mumble, vent, skype and everything works fine, it's just OBS.

I've fiddled with the settings and nothing seems to get rid of it. I use a STEELSERIES 5H USB headset.

Ive attached a photo of my OBS picking up audio inside of my microphone - I have no idea how to fix this!

Unfortunately it dosen't give me the option to adjust any of that :(

ALSO ~ I put my stream online right now so you guys can hear the sound it's making ~ i'm going to leave it up for a couple of minutes so I can get someone to hear it and maybe diagnose the issue.

(If i could have twitch save my broadcasts it would be a hell-of a lot easier!)

Yeah, the static will be from any background noise picked up. I believe programs like Skype have some built in noise filtering. OBS doesn't have anything like this at the moment.

No probs at all,I actually also been using steelseries usb soundcard with siberia v2,but I gave up on it and switched to xonar dgx :)
Also,many people saying that onboard soundcard > usb soundcard....maybe you can give it a try..
