Question / Help Inconsistent FPS drops...

Computer config:

AMD FX-8350 4.0 Ghz ( quite cool... liquid cooling fan )
Asus R9 270x 2 GB DDR5
8 GB ram
120 gb ssd (Obs stored)
550 hdd (games are stored)
600 watt corsair power supply.


Problem:

I stream league of legends.. When I play it without streaming I get 110-120 fps with all high settings....
When I stream I lower it to 80 locked fps... it stays around 72-80... then Random fps drop to like 12-20 for like couple secs....

you have aero enabled and are using monitor capture if you want aero to be enabled use as you already do window capture and game capture BUT NOT MONITOR
if you want to use monitor capture and game capture disable aero

this can cause major problems since you are running win7 and not 8

your encoding settings are fine 720p30@2500 is more than just fine and shouldnt cause any problem whatsoever on your hardware except your capture methods

would still try changing ingest servers since you are dropping frames

Twitch probably does not wish people to stream at bitrates higher than ~4000.
