Question / Help In game lag

Hello guys and girls,

Whenever I stream my games I seem to run into some form of lag.
It's hard to express what exactly it is but it feels kind of like I'm dropping frames.
I'll be using Counterstrike Global Offensive for reference in this thread.

The weird part? I'm not. My FPS is fine around 200-300 and my ping is in good shape too, around 30.

I've been looking around for settings that might cause the issue but I simply cannot figure it out.

My CPU:
i5-4690K @ 3.50GHz (4CPUs)

My GPU:
R9 280X

Some OBS settings:

Encoding:
x264
Quality: 8
Bitrate: 1500
CBR: on

Video:
Resolution: 480
Bilineair
FPS: 30`

Lastly I'd like to add that my CPU usage when streaming and playing CSGO is up to 65%.
I do not know if this is extremely high or average. Maybe someone can tell me if that's a weird number or not.

Hope anyone can help me out.

Activate max bitrate. Set it to the same like your normal bitrate. Try to not set the quality. Deactivate it. Is cbr on. Would helping. Scene buffering time should be 700 . Deactivate cfr. And try again.

If you have still space to use your cpu set your resolution setting bilineair to the highest settings. Help to increase the quality a bit

Good streaming need at least a high end computer. To get no problems. You should maybe try to set the fps same like obs ingame
