Hello. I recently installed OBS 24 and started to use it. I'm a doctor using it to record what happens in a room for Medical Simulation. In that room I have a microphone and 3 different cameras. The problem is no matter the delay I put the audio comes out around 2,5 seg before the video. Is like it didn't listen to me. Could you help me, please

Thank you for the answer!!
It is quite rare because even if you change the delay, nothing is modified.
As I said before, we use the OBS to capture video and audio from one room and then transmit it to another room (we don't use internet). That second screen (room) is where we broadcast live what happens in the first (from a control room). The peculiarity is that the transmission is done by network cable / HDMI (30 meters). No matter how much we change the delay it's as if it didn't pay any attention to us. Could it be the cable length?

What method are you using to send to the other room?

The stream delay and audio offsets are intended to apply to output (recorded file or RTMP stream). It won't affect anything else, so if you aren't using those methods to output from OBS, those settings will not have any effect.

@Narcogen Thanks for your answer.

The method we use to transmit live in the second room is though the HDMI cable.
Is there any way to synchronize live audio and video through HDMI cable and OBS??

No, not really.

OBS considers output to be RTMP and FFMpeg recording. Projectors and other outputs are monitoring-- OBS isn't even trying to keep the output of a Program or Preview projector and audio monitor in sync at all.

Depending on what you're connecting that HDMI cable to, to get synchronized output from OBS into another device that is physically nearby would be the OBS-NDI plugin and a local network. But I don't know what you're plugging your HDMI cable into in the other room.

I think OBS-NDI could work in our scenario.

We connect 3 IP cameras with 2 microphones (room 1) to our PC (with OBS). From there we transmit to an android TV ( room 2, via HDMI cable at a distance of about 30 meters).
