Dear friends,

I would like you to ask for a help. I want to stream a few computer at once. Also I would like to switch a view from one PC to other. I would like to do something like that. One streaming PC and 5 gamers PCs. I want to send a view from that 5 PCs to one streaming PC and switching between the views from that 5 PCs. I would like you to tell me what I need to have (any hardware) to be able to stream like that. Also how I should set up all thing to work it out? If you need more information please let me know I will try explain more clearly.

Best regards,

If you don't mind a bit of desync, you can have everyone in the room streaming to an internal RTMP server that you're running and use a central machine with media sources set up pointing at the individual feeds.

Failing that, you're probably going to need a few broadcast grade capture cards which are going to be EXPENSIVE.

@Harold I understand that if I will use internal RTMP server and I don't need any capture card right? The capture card is a second solution. I would like to stop here for a while and explain everything. It will be a gaming room with 5 gamers PCs and one streaming PC.

*) solution with capture card

I have got 5 PCs all got for example Live Gamer Portable and it's connected like that:
PC gamer - 'hdmi out' from gfx card - 'hdmi in' in LGP - 'usb cable' from LGP and it gonna be connected to streaming PC It gonna be like that from all PCs gamer right? I understand that it's first solution right?

*) solution with internal RTMP server

How exactly I can set up the server and how it will work? Do I need a server like a hardware to which I will sending a database (video and audio) from my 5 gamer PCs and all it will be capture from that server by streaming PC? How good connection is needed for this solution? What exactly I need for that kind solution what software and hardware?

One more question. What solution in your opinion is cheaper and easier to organize?

I wouldn't recommend usb capture devices for this setup. Too easy to hit per-controller bandwidth limits.

The RTMP solution is the cheaper of the two, since a sufficiently-powerful RTMP server can be run on a raspberry pi model b+

Custom output from each machine into the RTMP server, then media source from the same feed address. Give each computer a different stream key when setting it up

I'm gonna read this later. But there isn't any other way to do that right? What I can use for RTMP instead of raspberry pi? Can it be for example notebook or other PC?
