Bug Report Ikaruga capture breaks after a few seconds

I'm trying to stream Ikaruga fullscreen on my Windows 8 laptop with optimus. I've made sure to run both on the same card, and this occurs when I run it on either GPU. I am also running OBS as administrator. I start Ikaruga, and while it's on the start screen, I press F12 to enable game capture, and it shows up fine. Once I press Z to go to the main menu, the stream freezes within a second. If I wait till the main menu to press F12, it'll work until part way through game selection. If I wait until I'm in-game, it'll freeze after a second or two.

Give me a vod/video if you could. In the mean time however you may just have to use something other than game capture because this game appears to do some weird stuff with its graphics context.

a video... of OBS? The game? Or just record to a video? I hadn't been able to get monitor capture to work at all, but maybe I missed something

A video of the output when you attempt to capture. Ah I see, you're on a laptop. Also monitor capture does not work with fullscreen games. I meant running the game in a borderless/windowed mode and using window capture or monitor capture. (In this case, I highly recommend window capture)

Here is a video, although I'm not sure if it'll be helpful. It's black at the beginning until I hit F12 to select the game, and then black after it fades out where it stops working. (the game shows the title screen after the logo fades out). The game does not give resolution options, and the biggest windowed mode takes up 1/5th of my monitor, so it's fairly useless, and I have not been able to make it resize larger
