Question / Help i7 4770k vs GTX970 encoding ?

Ok so now I'm confused and I need your help guys.

1) First, does i7 4770k @ 3.5 with Turbo @ 3.9 makes changes if I overclock same cpu to stable 4.2ghz ? In terms of cpu usage when I'm playing game and streaming at the same time ?

2) Also I bought new GTX970 so I'm wondering does encoding through Nvidia GPU works as shadowplay without performance loss ? And is quality significantly worse or better ? I just realized (lol) that shadowplay is not using anything and I can easily achieve 1080p60fps with atleast 30,000+ bitrate while OBS will use cpu usage ofcourse.

With latest AC Unity and FC4 where cpu usage is going up to 95% on some cores I'm wondering about those 2 questions.

Thanks,

nvenc is by far worse than x264

and the overclock will help but it is not really necessary

and if you are only worried about local recording then go ahead and record 1080p60 on ultrafast preset with bitrate/buffer of also 30k the pixel density will still be better on the x264 encoding

I kinda need both recording options and stream for daily streams. So I'm just looking how to get more performance and give space to my CPU with latest games which are taking over 85% cpu core usage sometimes.

theres no game that takes up 85% cpu right now ... i think one of the games that took the most load on my cpu was when i played the bf4 beta and it still didnt go over 60% and i still could barely stream 720p60 on an i7 2700k

the new ac is at least for me not really cpu hungry and fc4 is compareable to any other cpu hungry game but i wont get a game over 95% from a single game

With latest AC Unity and FC4 where cpu usage is going up to 95% on some cores I'm wondering about those 2 questions.

Thanks,

It's going atleast on one core on 90% but I hope that i7 4770k will do fine even in those games at veryfast preset.

well what cpu are you using right now for gaming? are you planning to upgrade? your post doesnt really make sense expect that if i read your post i assume that either of those two games max out an i7 4770k and thats impossible.

It's doing fine. I can stream at veryfast maxed out with over 60fps in those 2 games on this one PC, this problem is solved. I have another one, I think its bigger so we can lock this one.
