When I run OBS studio on someone else's PC with a windows command prompt,
can it automatically detect another person's PC and the sub-monitor connected to it?
Obs is able to record what is visible on the desktop of the PC it is running on. In case this is not what you want to know, describe your architecture (involved machines) and intended setup with more specifics.
I want to record someone else's (e.g. Mr. Smith) PC remotely.
Actually, I found out "websocket" which is a way to record another person's PC after I asked first question.
If I use websocket to record Mr. Smith's PC and his LG monitor.
Can I record the multi-monitor connected to it?
<Character>
1) Me : using windows PC
2) Others (e.g. Mr. Smith) : Using windows PC with LG monitor as multi-monitor
The best solution would probably be to tell Mr. Smith how to use obs to record his pc. You install obs for him and set up the scenes to record his one or two or three monitors, then he controls the recording process himself.
