So I have been trying to stream on twitch for roughly a month and have just recently actually set up my schedule so that I can put a decent bit of time into it monday-friday. However roughly 30 days ago I bundled my existing internet with a new cable package. Which dropped me from the xfinity blast pro tier internet to just the blast tier. I have contacted comcast several times and they have attempted to solve my problem many times. They have sent a technician out who has done everything he could to try and fix it, but I am still dropping frames constantly in obs studio. Before I bundled my internet and tv I wasn't having this problem. However, this is where it gets interesting. I downloaded obs classic today and tried it out to see how it worked, and to my amazement I didn't drop a single frame. I have replicated the settings in obs studio and changed them and done everything imaginable to try and get it to work but it won't. If I run the setup wizard it suggests I stream in some ungodly low resolution with a bitrate of 850. But in classic I didn't drop a single frame in 720p 30fps, but this is where it gets weird. The whole time I was using classic for a good 10 minute test stream my stream health was red. It was just solid red..... But I was still streaming with no frame drops and the quality was good. I have an i7 6700k overclocked to 4.2 ghz. paired with a gtx 970. 16 gigs of ram and am using a 144hz ben q monitor. I have tried everything I can possibly think of to solve this but I can't I need help. Anything is appreciated.
