Ok so i have a pretty good computer i would say and my internet is 3mbps upload but i can only use maximum of 1600 kbps because of Virgin Media and their Upload Captcha. So this is what i want to do. I want to be able to upload a decent stream which doesn't get pixelated or rarely gets pixelated at 60fps.Is this possible (if not what to do?)
I have a I7 4770K OC to 4GHz and a GTX 780

I am sorry but at that upload speed 60 fps is not going to be possible as far as I know. As for having 1600kbps you will want to use 80% of that.

I know i can use the full 1600 kbps after some testing as for i have 3000 kbps available

okay sorry I misunderstood, I thought you were limited to 1600 as the max available. But I know that you wont be able to run 60fps well. I am using 2500 kbps and only using 30 fps. At 1600 I would suggest 20 fps roughly. You could theoretically run 60fps but your viewers would hate the lag and the buffer.

If we are talking 720@60 then I've seen 2500 at medium preset not get to pixellated. I personally use 720@60 fast preset with 3500 bitrate and would like to say, I get very little pixellation, but there is a pretty sizable difference between fast and medium.

Lastly, post your logfile from the help menu. Copy the link and post it here.

Lower your audio bitrate to 96kbps

always use identical buffer and bitrate. so set them both to 1600.

scene buffering should be 700ms now so change that to.

If you dont want pixellation, run 480p @60fps, use 1600 buffer/bitrate and use slow preset. you should be happy with those results.

If you turn thedownscaling up though (lets say to 720p), you will have to set the preset to a quicker rate. the faster the preset the less time the CPU takes on each frame so super fast=bad quality but easier on the CPU but slow= great quality but very tough on the CPU. veryfast is default

but since you have limited bandwidth, you might as well try a slower preset and see what your CPU can compensate for.

Thank you, I'm busy fine tuning these now. So far good results
