Question / Help I need help setting up my Stream.

This is for local recordings by the way. I've tried following guides on youtube and such on the best possible settings for obs but it never looks good and the recording lags. Also, I dont feel a drop in my fps while I'm playing at the time. These are my pc specs:

OS: Windows 8.1 64-bit
CPU: Amd Fx-6300
GPU: Asus Radeon r9 270
SSD: Crucial Mx100 256gb

There will always be a performance impact if you are doing the encoding on the same computer that you are playing on

A lot of people that want to do pc game stream use a second computer to stream as asking 1 machine to play the game and stream is just to much.

You don`t say how much ram you have or what settings you were running at
