Question / Help I love OBS but... 2 Webcams = LAG.

Hello! I love OBS. It works as expected in all scenarios except one.


When I run 2 webcams at the same time it stops responding, lags about a minute, and once live I'm unable to change scences during the stream without having the same thing happen = the stream crashes for a minute.

I'd REALLY like to get this fixed. I stream together with my girlfriend and having 2 webcams is absolutely crucial.


Do you have any suggestions? Are there going to be any updates solving this?


I'm using the 32bit version, using 2x C920 Logitech Webcams.

hmmmm, i run two logitech cameras with no issues. I am assuming you have all the software and drivers installed? you should also supply a log for people to take a look at. also system specs would be helpful aswell.

If you're running both webcams at 1080p, you're probably getting quite a bit of USB saturation. I recommend running the webcams at 720p, and on separate controllers if possible.

that actually makes sense why mine works lol. never even thought of that. i run both of mine at 1280x720 and on different usb. thanks for this, it might help a friend having issues. sorry to highjacking the thread.
