Question / Help I hear my self when streaming

Just as the title of this post, when i stream i hear my self. My mic.

can't figure out why.
If i mute all the sound from OBC in the windows mixer. The sounds mutes.

The stream is only picking up sound from my mic, not from my desktop.

pls help
 
That one hell of a response to someone trying to help you. Make you sure turn off listening to your own mic in Windows settings and make sure you mute your stream if you look at your dashboard.

Pretty sure if i was to respond to this normally Jim would be banning me in an Instant, To avoid that I'll try to be nice.

A log would be useful (If you're not an Idiot you will have read the wonderful stickies and know all about this).
A Confirmation that you were not listening back to your stream via your channel page or dashboard page.
Does this happen during "Preview" or only when actually streaming to the server?
A vod showing this in action might also be of some use.

After that I would also like to remind you that everyone is of a different skill and so when someone mentions "I can hear myself" it usually means they forgot about the audio coming back from their twitch page, Its not some roundabout way of calling you an idiot and the users who have tried to help you made the assumption you were having a rather common problem.

We have to ask. You'd be very surprised at how many people ARE watching their stream while they stream and report that problem.
 
They honestly don't mean any offense or anything, it's just something that generally we have to ask to be sure.
