Please clarify what you mean by "window of update"
OBS released version at
https://obsproject.com/download hasn't changed since early June and is still v27.0.1
Someone else commented that the Windows Store version of OBS Studio is NOT the official OBS Studio version... so beware
And if by update you mean a new OBS Studio Release Candidate for v27.1 then you are running Beta software.. you are acting as a tester... so issues are normal and to be expected.
*IF* you are running the release candidate version then
1. you should indicate that very relevant fact when asking for help
2. expect to troubleshoot pre-release software, and post issues as requested to the release candidate thread, which I think is
https://obsproject.com/forum/threads/obs-studio-27-1-release-candidate.147633/
if this isn't for OBS Release Candidate 27.1, but instead OBS Studio downloaded from this site, then I'd recommend following forum pinned post
OBS Studio creates a log file each time you run it which contains very useful diagnostic information. Without a log file, it's much harder for any support volunteers to figure out problems and your post may be ignored. To upload a log file, go to the Help menu > Log Files > Upload Last Log...

Or, are you using Streamlabs OBS? if yes,
You should reach out to Streamlabs <
https://support.streamlabs.com/hc/en-us> for support with their forked version.
