Question / Help I have 2 problems.

First my pc specs are i5 4690k 8gb of ram, and a r9 290 gpu.

So my first issue is finding the right settings to record 1080p @ 60fps without taking up 80% of my cpu. I've read the post about using frc = X instead of using cbr. That did not help. Also even when I use cbr my bitrate flexuates a lot while recording.

My second issue is streaming. I stream at 720 60fps . I have streamed for a few months with no issues. Now my bit rate doesn't get over 500kbps.

Any help is greatly appreciated and if you need any more info like log files I can get them in a little while I'm on my phone on the way home from work.

Quicksync will help you massively on recording.

And you might want to reset your stream key on twitch and possibly try a different ingest server

That quick sync is amazing I ran into an issue of high encoding on the settings he has so I had to tune it down some. Quality isn't the best but not bad at all.

And wow stream key seemed to fix the issue. It's set at 2200kbps every couple minutes it drops to 2000 and turns yellow but is pretty much on point now! Can I use the quick sync to stream also?
