I got access to Twitch 2K Open Beta (1440P 60FPS) but it doesn't work

It's best to always test with Twitch Inspector. Then you don't need to go LIVE. You just test the connections and streams. I use Stream Key only whe I do tests. It's much easier to use it with Twitch Inspector.
Personally, I prefer using the logs because I can see exactly what EB is doing behind the scenes but yeah, Twitch Inspector is definitely the easiest option.

can you send me your OBS logs, would be very helpful!
1. start your test stream.
2. copy all current logs.

can you provide us your full logs? Important data is already censored in there.

I got it working, but probably not officially supported. I manipulated the config to get the 2k stream working.
The main issue here is that the twitch response we get for the enhanced broadcast rendering configuration does not contain the hevc renderer.

I can confirm its a twitch configuration response issue.

After I corrected the response, I get a working 2k stream.

Quick update, with the manipulated config:
- the test stream works fine.
- RTMP header looks correct.
- Test stream stays stable.

As soon as I stream to the live servers, the connection gets dropped.
So it seems like we are not fully enabled for 2K streams.

Bro, this happens to me too but my streams are still fine. It is a Twitch issue on their end, not ours. So, Twitch needs to fix it for us in order for them to give us access to the HEVC encoder. Everything will work better with that encoder. The current encoder Nvidia Nvenc works however, there's lots of framedrops. It will still be stable though but for how long????

Thanks for your logs, was helpful to compare the data. Mine was already fine, which i build myself. They are identical to yours.

I created a php file which acts as a POST proxy in between my OBS studio and the twitch response.
Edited 2 json configs of OBS to call my hosted php instead of twitch configuration url directly.
Then I manipulated the json entries for the 1440p encoder settings.

I am currently 1:1 replicating @navyjonny117 configuration.
With the testing server it works perfectly fine and stable. I can also see the right codec, bitrate and resolutions.

BUT once I start streaming to the real live servers, twitch drops my connection after 1 second.
So this looks like, even looking beautifully fine on the testing servers, on the live servers we still get dropped/blocked, even when in our account panel on twitch, it says we got 2k streaming unlocked, it seems 2K streaming is not fully enabled for our accounts in current state.

Small extra: With manipulating the enhanced broadcasting configuration, it should be also possible, to stream with the HEVC codec in 8000kbps instead of 7500kbps which twitch currently respond. But we can only test this, once we are generally able to stream with the HEVC codec with 1440p without beeing blocked.

That's the proof that Twitch messed something up in the background... or simply forgot to activate something properly.
But it's a solid indicator that we're not the issue here. The problem clearly lies with Twitch, and it seems like we just haven't been fully unlocked yet.
Thanks for all your effort! @Crypto90 @navyjonny117

Quick update: Support just replied and asked me to enable Enhanced Broadcasting under Creator Dashboard > Stream > Multitrack.

To be honest, this is the first time I’ve ever heard of that specific path and I can confirm that I don’t have any such option available in my dashboard.

I’ve already replied and let them know that the Enhanced Broadcasting section is completely missing on my end

I've put in a ticket as well. I don't see that section either.

I'd be half curious if the "Latency mode" (currently set for low latency) could impact the configuration being sent as well. I might need to test that. Or maybe it's another setting there that conflicts or bugs it out. I've got all the same issues listed above. Unfortunate. ~_~

I already tested that unfortunately, no success at all.
At least its a bit of a relief to know we’re not the only ones dealing with this issue.

Really hope Twitch sorts this out soon… I waited 4 weeks to get accepted into the program and now it still doesnt work.
