After the active downloads says it is done being downloaded instead of saying open or run it will say file cannot be found, or say file has been deleted. I think my computer thinks its unsafe and I cant download it.

Are you using Norton Antivirus? that program thinks OBS is a virus for some reason...it's pretty garbage virus software altogether. You will need to whitelist it, or better yet, get a non-crappy AV program.

Hi, conner.

You'll want to give us a bit more information to work with so we can help you.

Here are a few simple questions to help us to help you:
  1. What operating system are you currently using?
You can often find this by holding the Windows key on your keyboard, and pressing the Pause button, located in the upper right corner of most modern keyboards.
There are also a few telltales that we can look for, if you aren't able to get the operating system from the previous suggestion.
  2. What kind of video card are you using?
If you aren't certain, let's use the DirectX Diagnostic utility to find out. You can get to this utility by clicking on the pearl (Windows Vista, Windows 7), or placing your mouse in the lower left corner of your display until the Start tile appears (Windows 8, 8.1), then clicking. When the menu appears, type:
    dxdiag
and press enter. The DirectX Diagnostic utility should open. Give it 30 seconds to collect your information, and then you may click on the "Display 1" tab.
The device section will give you plenty of information about your graphics card.
  3. What is the exact error message you get when you try to use OBS?
Note: Please do not substitute words in the message. Please type the exact error message you get -- it's easier to find the error when we see the whole thing.

Your graphics card does not have sufficient support for DirectX 10. It does not matter if you have newer versions of DirectX software installed; your hardware does not support the necessary features, and no you cannot do anything about it apart from upgrading it.

Not with the current version of OBS, no. Even if you had a sufficient graphics card, that CPU is too weak to be able to record or stream effectively.
