Question / Help I Cannot install OBS due to Vista Platform update

I'm trying to install OBS but it keeps asking me to install the Windows Vista Platform update but every time I try to install this update it keeps saying "The update does not apply to your system". I've tried the Vista 64bit version of this update as well and still get the same thing.

Functions of the platform update are unfortunately necessary to run OBS. If you really cannot install the update (and fixing your system is not an option) you could give the OBS-MP version for windows a try.
I actually am not sure if it needs the update, but I think it does not.
