Question / Help I can stream for hitbox but I can't for Twitch why?

Hey guys!

I did a little test. When I was streaming for Twitch on my stream almost for all the time was "loading cricle".
When I was streaming for Hitbox everything was ok and streams looks better plus it seems like it was more fluent.
Settings for both stream-serivces (Twitch and Hitbox) was exactly same. So guys do you have any idea why it's going like that?

@Sapiens if he is wrong. Do you have any idea why on hitbox I can easly see my stream in website. But when I stream for twitch I can't because there is always "loading"?

Some type of issue between the Twitch servers and you, presumably. Can other people view your stream successfully?

I heard that streaming up to 2,5k will give some bandwidth problems to viewers

Some of my viewers can watch my stream some of them can't. But it's very weird because I could watch it too.
Now I can't and I haven't change anything... So it's bothering me and I'm angry at universe that it doing me things like that :(

@Sapiens I saw that thread but still for me it's hard to believe that from day after day can happen things like that. In your opinion what I should to do right now? Change stream service to hitbox (low comunity and there's no a lot of viewers ans on twitch). Or stay with Twitch nad pray for better days? Because I see that I as I can't do anything to repair it because it's not based on my.

I've never really considered being able to watch my own stream while live particularly important, so I guess my recommendation would be not to worry about it.

Maybe you're right. But if I can't watch my stream so I can't check it is it ok or not...

It's hard to see is your stream fluent or it's not...

@Sapiens I was thinking about what you said and about that thread you linked here. I think it's weird that I can't watch my stream on twitch but I can watch stream others ppl ofc on twitch too. Don't you think so?

Big problem with Twitch is their distribution. If you are not partnered, your stream might come from a different server than a partnered stream for example, in circumstances also two not partnered streams could come from different twitch servers to the viewer. This can and will affect the viewing experience.
Its practically not possible to compare two twitch streams with each other. But we have enough factors we can work with to know that our own stream should run fine:
  • Test your settings with a local recording (while stressing your PC)
  • Save your stream to the harddisk to check it afterwards
  • Keep an eye on the dropped frames counter
  • Keep an eye on your CPU usage, it should never totally max out
  • Ask viewers that you know if everything is good
  • Check your log file later for late/duplicated frames
You can also use a service like restream to stream to twitch and hitbox at the same time, then check both streams on your side. A running upload at higher rates can also affect your own download capabilities though.

Ok I will try check all this things. For right now I noticed one thing. My CPU usage sometimes is 100%. But it's like you know. Bump to 100% and back to 40/60% and not going more. Mostly it's happen when I change the game (launching a new game) or going to chrome.

Another thing is that I have never had a dropped frame on my stream.
What's going on about log file and duplicated frames? Do I need to look into log file from OBS after my stream?
