Humming or screeching with Audio Input Capture

I have tried using my camera mic, and 2 different headsets, but there is a slight humming in the background of my videos. Also, when I use the headsets, my voice sounds muffled, the camera mic picks up my voice fine, I'd rather use a headset but at this point I'll take anything with no hum. My twitch is, Draven31686 - Twitch , the video is up temporarily and I have it saved.

Sounds really bad.

- The sound doesn't appear in the middle, more to the left...?
Did you set in the advanced audio settings the "mono" check for the mic inputs?
- Anyway there are (sometimes) crackled noises that appear in the right track.
Source of that noises unknown?
- Your voice sounds absolutely gated. If you don't speak, its totally silenced.
If you don't have any filter involved within OBS, then its your sound driver or an unwanted feature within your windows system. (bad in any case)
Try to disable any "sound optimisation" features within the windows audio devices settings.
- Your voice has definitely more noise than hum. Seems to be reasoned by far too low level.
- Your voice sounds muffled. If its the headset, its definitely not a good one.
- If your voice openes the gate, there is a "metallic appearance". Is it your computer or...? Maybe a comb filter effect due to more than one open mics (or a badly twin re-routing of your signal).

You wrote about camera mic and two headsets. Hope that you didn't tried them at once.
