Question / Help Huge Quality lost

Hey guys,

i've been trying to stream now since some days and in the past days i have huge quality problems on with my game recording

when i start my stream it looks perfect and as soon as i start moving my quality is braking down turns into massive pixel

any ideas ?

It is what you should expect having only 1800 bitrate to work with. "Pixellation" appears when there isn't enough space to pack the data into, thus if you want better quality in the more motion-intense scenes you will need to improve your bitrate.

i also tested it with 3500 and just recording local same happens

local recording or not doesn't really matter much 3.5mbps is the same 3.5mbps.
are you sure it's absolutely the same?

yes i have recorded it and check it with VLC same pixel i can go up to 10 mbps but since i dont see any improvement from 1.8 to 3.5 i dont see the point in raising it even higher

i also tested the recommendation from the obs page based on computer and speed and still no improvement

set your encoding profile back to veryfast

okay now the pixel stuff isn't there any more, any other ideas how i could improve it a bit more ?
