So ive been test streaming TF2 on and off for a few weeks and its going alright but at times i get huge ping spikes. Im streaming at 1280 x 720 at 45 fps with no resolution downscale. At the moment im using 3000 kbs bitrate with a 2250 buffersize, with no delay. Some times during the day im able to pull of 60-80 ping for a while before it slowly increases up to 800 ping.
Basically my main problem is i can stream for a little with fine ping (70-80) then it spikes to 800 or even stays consistently at 100 at times.
-Speedtest.net shows that i have a 5.45 mbps upload speed
-Here are my specs
- Intel Core i3-4150 cpu @3.50GHz
- 6.00 GB Ram
- Windows 7 Pro
- NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti
Does anyone have suggestions on what bitrate and buffersize is should use? i bought a new pc so i could stream and im kind of new to OBS and help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks guys.
