Question / Help Huge lag in League of Legends while streaming.

Hi all . I just have a question. My upload is 1.8 mbps and I have around 150-200 fps in League of Legends so my pc is good. How come everytime i start to stream i get like 200-300 ping. My bitrate is 1500. I wanna stream 720p

dude, as i know as youtuber and portuguese streams configurator (for the friends and for me) with a 1.8 mb internet you cant stream as 720p because:
Latest 720p requirements according to youtube are a recomended 2500 kbs to stream 720p definition and 1.8 in kbs is at least 1800 kbps what enters in the lag definiton of 720p that is a minimum of 1500 kbps what means a incredible lag in stream and a breakable transmition.

you can have the best pc you want but with that upload speed its a not confortable risk to make a stream in 720p, your viewers will see a every 5 minutes or less stopping frames and scene livestream what in a lol game or more than 1 its a crap to see

well you got 1,8mbit thats equal to ~1800bitrate and you are using 1500 as soon as your bitrate fluctuates which it does all the time you will probably go over 2k without a problem

i would recommend using not more than 1000bitrate

so first of all drop the bitrate/buffer down to 1000 test your stream see if your ping is stable and check your stream quality since you will either have to go with an slower preset like fast or downscale

since you havent posted a log i cant really judge if your pc is actually capable of managing slower presets

thats literally what i thought


you got a really weak cpu

yes it says it is a "quad core" but its actually a hyperthreaded dual core and you are also gaming + streaming on an notebook

so changing the preset is almost impossible for you especially on fast


if you cant stream 1280x720 /30fps / with veryfast then you have to try superfast or even ultrafast but the quality will suffer


and according to the log
11:03:26: max bitrate: 1890
11:03:26: buffer size: 1890

you were actually using more bitrate than upload you have

yes you changed it later but you tried odd combinations


use 1000bitrate/buffer

1280x720 30fps veryfast preset and post a new log (make sure you have closed and reopened obs after you made those changes) and then post an answer with an vod if possible
