Question / Help How to Setup Skype w/ OBS So Stream Can Hear Call?

How do I setup my Skype so my stream can hear the call and I can also hear the Skype call while talking?

In your Skype options, make sure that Skype is outputting to the same device that you are capturing with your Desktop audio device in OBS.

He pretty much explained it in the simplest way possible. Go into your skype options and set your speaker device to the same as what OBS is capturing. If you set them both to the same thing, then the stream will hear the skype call.

In my case Skype goes to Line1 (my default playback device in Windows) so I select this device in Skype and OBS:

In OBS, default would also work in this case. If those settings do not work, you might have to turn off Exclusive mode for your sound devices.

Now I'm trying to do the opposite, and have the game volume but NOT the skype call. Anyway in doing that?
