Question / Help How to separate different output audios?

I plan on posting videos on youtube as a fun hobby, but two of mine were copy-striken for having copy-written music in them. Since the music is melded into the other output sounds such as dialogue and environmental sounds ingame, is there a way to separate different output audio so that I can replace copy-written music?

There is no way to split audio in an existing audio track in a video file afterwards, but to exclude some audio for recording exist numerous guides.

In general, it works like this: you install a virtual audio device and configure the app you want to record to output its sound not to the default device but to that virtual audio device. In OBS, you record that virtual audio device. These guides all deal with separating audio with different focus:
