Question / Help How to select certain cores/threads for obs?

Hello,

I'm trying to stream some skyrim with an i7 5820k @ 4.4 Ghz (6 cores, 12 threads). Normally I wouldn't have any cpu problems when streaming whatsoever, neither have fps drops or a reduction in frames, but since skyrim is a CPU bound game which runs on only two cores (core 0 and 1 obv) I get huge fps loss/drops when trying to stream skyrim with a load of mods.


Is there any x264 encode setting/command that makes me able to select threads 2-12 for streaming so I can leave core 0 and 1 for the game?

You can specify the amount of threads with a custom x264 setting: threads= however i dont know how to define the specific threads (and if this is even possible within the x264 encoder).
