Hey, i am looking for help in successfully running 2 OBS studios on 1 system.
i found an old guide from 2014 for OBS classic, but being 2017 i would like some fresh input based on today's version.
Scenario: I would like to run 2 OBS studios together on 1 PC, both sending separate streams to the same youtube channel.
2 stream keys 1 channel - i already have the 2 stream keys.
Stream 1 is already running smooth and fine and has been for the last 6 months using OBS studio, now i am looking to get a 2nd stream running too but using the same PC.
Stream 1 is a 24/7 stream and i do not want to do anything that will cause this to end, so i want some pro advice on getting this setup smoothly if possible.
Do i have to install a 2nd OBS to a separate location on my system, or can it be done with a single install of studio?
I do not want to overwrite the current settings or risk wiping my current scenes etc on the existing stream that is already running.
They will both be running different streams so, i need to set this up so the 2nd instance of OBS is safe to create new scenes and not have any settings screw up on first instance.
i hope i am making sense here.
Any help is greatly appreciated, and thanks in advance.
