I'm new to OBS and have got most things down but the recording. I am streaming successfully but the start recording button doesnt allow me to click it. Do I need something to record?
You need to check the "Save to file" checkbox in the broadcast settings and make sure a filepath and filename is set.
You can use %.mp4 as the filename for example and it will use the current time and date to name the file.
