Question / Help How To Record Without Streaming?

Hello! I would really like to record my Xbox One gameplay with friends on skype and party chat with out live streaming so I can capture their voices and mine and upload it to YouTube. When I have tried the "Recording" button, the videos I get in my video file are un-readable and are in .flv format. Is there any way to get this to a different file type? I would love to record videos with my friends but I haven't been able to. Also, I am recording Xbox One game play with a regular El Gato. Thanks!

One easy chnage to make that will make the videos easy to play back and upload (assuming that all recording is working fine of course) is the the file name/path area of the settings, when you would normally have something like:

C:\recordings\filename.flv​

You can actually chnage it to be:

C:\recordings\filename.mp4​

This format should be able to just open up and play in programs like iTunes, VLC media player, etc.
