Question / Help How to record DirectDraw games?

I saw in the release notes that it's supported with Game Capture since a few releases ago, but I can't seem to see any DirectDraw game to hook into it.

I've tried:

Plants vs Zombies
StarCraft
Age of Empires

And none of them appear in the dropdown:

Is there something I'm not doing right?

I'm using Windows 7 x64; Aero Disabled. DDraw games don't show in both 32-bit and 64-bit OBS builds.

Fired up OBS 0.625b and grabbed the external DDraw hook plugin, and OBS both sees a game I tried (WarCraft II) and records it just fine.

The provided DLL files extend the capture capabilities of the original OBS capture files to allow for DirectDraw and D3D8 gamecapture.

And I've also managed to get DirectDraw games recorded also with OBS when using an older version of OBS + that plugin; it strangely doesn't work with newer versions of OBS though, which I'm trying to figure out.
