Question / Help How to make OBS not pick up taskbar and top of window

Well, Game Capture doesn't work because I don't play Minecraft fullscreen, and Window Capture takes a long time to update. So, I use Display Capture. The only problem is that it picks up my taskbar and top of window, which is nothing serious but I would prefer if it just showed Minecraft. How do I do this?

Not playing minecraft fullscreen doesn't prevent it from being captured with game capture.

Oh. Does using other windows (e.g. Chrome, File Explorer) work with Game Capture?

Ok, I tested and it works. The thing is, I want to be able to switch windows without having to change what it records.

Game capture doesn't capture foreground windows when you tab out.

Also, Window Capture is extremely fast if you have Aero turned ON.

Assuming you're on Win7, make sure you haven't disabled it, and are using an Aero theme.
