Sapiens Forum Moderator Dec 24, 2014 #2 Settings > Broadcast Settings > Change the File Path line to end in .mp4 MP4 is more susceptible to corruption if a recording is stopped unexpectedly, so you may be better off recording to FLV first and then remuxing to MP4 after - https://obsproject.com/forum/resources/how-to-convert-flvs-to-mp4-fast-without-re-encoding.78/ If your current media player can't open FLV files, get a better one. VLC and MPC-HC should both work fine.
