Question / Help How to disable game audio on PC but not mute?

Sorry if the thread title is odd, I had no idea how to word it, and my question is quite unique so bear with me.

So I just started streaming with my Xbox 360. I use OBS and I am very happy with it so far, great piece of software that does everything I need. However, my stream setup is giving me a minor issue (not too serious) that I would like to maybe get some help with. My stream setup is as follows, sorry if this is a little confusing but I will go through it all

I use the HD PVR to stream. I have 2 monitors, one is my TV that I use to play xbox one and the other monitor I use shows my PC, I use it to control OBS, read stream chat, play music etc while streaming. Since OBS doesn't support the HD PVR direct input, I have to use a workaround. I open up the TME (Total Media Extreme) recording software that comes bundled with the PVR, and I use the window capture in OBS to add the exact region to OBS. Here's a screenshot of the software to get an idea of what I mean

This is where my problem arises. The TME capture software has about 2 seconds of audio/video delay behind what actually happens on my screen. This is fine as I play on a separate monitor. The problem arises when I want to listen to music/add music to stream.. Since the TME software is on my volume mixer, and gives sound to the stream, I can't mute it. So I'm forced to hear a 2 second delayed audio stream of the game I'm playing, along with my music, even after it's happened on my TV. I can't mute it as it will mute my stream sound for viewers. Even lowering it is not an option. It's incredibly annoying.

I tried searching for ways to work around this but was not successful. Is there any way for me to theoretically disable the TME software from giving sound to my headphones, but without muting it? AKA, is there a way for me to not hear it, but for my stream and OBS to still get the sound? It's a problem for me at the minute as I am forced to use the TME software as OBS does not support HD PVR as a direct capture device. Any feedback or replies are greatly appreciated!
