Question / Help How should I setup my stream?

Hey, I am thinking of starting streaming with OBS on Twitch.
I turn my stream for moment and I run CS:GO but the stream lags so much.. with default settings so I am here wondering what I can do so it will run smooth or less laggy?

my computer is :

  • Windows 10
  • Intel® Core™ i7-6700 Processor
  • Memory: 16 GB
  • Graphics: AMD Radeon R5 330(2GB)
  • Hard drive: 2 TB
anyone can help me :D?

Running a game without vertical sync or a frame rate limiter will frequently cause performance issues with OBS because your GPU will be maxed out. Enable vsync or set a reasonable frame rate limit that your GPU can handle without hitting 100% usage. If that's not enough you may also need to turn down some of the video quality options in the game.

You should also downscale your stream output to 720p under Settings > Video.
