Question / Help How do I record video?

Correct me if I'm mistaken, but I can just record my gaming without having to live stream right? I just downloaded the software and did the settings, but my 'start recording' button is greyed out...

Make sure if "Live Stream" mode is selected that "save to file" is checked and a filepath/filename is set.

actually there is one more problem... the playback works fine, but when I get into a game (magicka: wizard wars) there is a black box covering most of the screen, showing only the edges of the game window

hmm which source type did you use to capture magicka? and is the game running in a window or fullscreen mode?
(If the game runs in fullscreen, you have to use Game Capture to capture it succesfully, or switch it to window mode if possible, for the other methods)
