Question / Help How do I record 720p?

i'm recording gameplays of minecraft and everytime i upload the footage to youtube it doesnt go up to 720p,only 480.i am using 0.11.1 version of obs.
my computer : mac os x version 10.9.5
8 gb ram 1600 mhz.
Can you please help? i would like to record the gameplay in hd

if you are sure you are recording in 1280x720 and uploading the same videofile then simply wait for youtube to actually process the video
