I noticed that my cameras run better when only the cameras that are currently used at the time I broadcast are the ones that are plugged into the USB system.
Is there a way I can have extra cameras plugged in but not taking up by the standby system of OBS so that I could predefine a second stage but not call it up unless I'm actively working in the second stage?
I don't need transitions between scenes so I like these to be two separate isolated stages that I can't transition.
Or is the only way not to get OBS to recognize a camera is to unplug it?
I have a modern gaming setup and a classic gaming setup and I don't need the two to transition to each other. But I would like them both predefined so that I don't have to spend 30 minutes setting up every time I broadcast.
By the way the seven cameras that work are three stereoscopic cameras (three perspectives, two eyes each) and one capture card. I would like to add two different stereoscopic cameras. But I don't want them draining resources on my OBS or computer.
