Question / Help How do I go about making a small Gaming House without using Hardware Recording Devices.

So I would love to be able to start a small gaming house with my friends. We actually have a place and the computers. But I would like to stay away from any kind of AVerMedia like hardware. I would instead like to send each PC stream sort of like how most of you do it now but instead of streaming it to say Twitch it goes to a Master Streamer PC that is nothing but made to handle the stream / nightbot / etc...

This i know is possible but is it possible with OBS is it easy etc is something I don't know.

If you want to do something like that you need to receive the image of the PCs at that one PC.
This only goes either by tapping on the video output with capture cards/boxes or each PC sends an an stream to you via network but then the PCs themself need to be powerful enough to handle streaming or use hardware-assisted streaming like QuickSync or NVENC to produce a high-bitrate stream.

But you need to be aware that you need some sort of monster-PC to handle multiple outbound Streams if you don't want to provide some sort of combined stream, picture in picture or something like that.

I do want to have a combined stream and that is the plan. I guess the best example of what I want to do is something like 1 PC showing 2-3 streams on 1 single stream. But it to handle it you know where to place the text on the screen to disable one the streaming showing up on the stream etc. Nothing really special I guess something like RTMP not sure if they got a simple one on Windows or if I use Linux how hard it is to easily adjust settings for other people in my house who want to enable or disable on the go a stream etc without knowing linux.
