Question / Help How Do I Get My Microphone to sound Good while streaming ?

Hi I have a blue yeti microphone a boom arm and a pop filter but the mic sounds ok but it sounds a lot better when I hear other people who have it it sounds a lot better any help ?
 
Well there is not much to set up.
First - get your audio level right, so its loud enough without clipping (too high volume).
Second - get rid of all background noise (close windows, make your PC silent, tell your neighbors kid to shut up etc).
Third - get the right distance. Condenser microphones produce a different sound from close range (15cm or lower), increasing the lower spectrum. Rappers often use this trick to sound deeper. Try it, record from 50cm and then from 10cm distance, look what you like better.
 
There are also different microphones for different voices. It doesnt really matter for a streamer, but every singer who has enough money, will have a couple of microphones carefully selected for him to suite his voice and style.
Blue Yeti is a good mic overall, but doesnt sound well with some voices.
